News from Mrs. Pruzin's Cubs

When we were in Art, we decorated square papers. (Will)
We made squares and we decorated the squares in Art. (Tanner)
I like Art because it is my favorite classroom. We made Kachinas. We like Art. (Phoebe)

Math is important because it is fun and super fun. (Jacob)
In Math we do number sentences. We write in our math journals. (Kaitlyn)

We learned the rules on the first day of P.E. We play games and do the parachute. (Maegan)
I went to P.E. We had lots of fun! I love P.E. I did the parachute. (Sophia)

Music is fun. We dance. I love music. (Nevaeh)
In Music we got to play one of the instruments. (James)

We like recess. (Dominic)
We saw a tarantula spider. It ran fast while I was on the swings. (Lucas)

We use a word muncher to munch words. (Reed)
Word Munchers eat words. Word Munchers lose their teeth. (Brysen)
We like the Word Muncher because it's fun. We feed it words. (Bella)

Mrs. Pruzin give us presents when it is your birthday. It was my birthday. I got a book. (Tyler) Birthdays are fun. Today is Tyler's birthday. We had donuts. Tyler has a snake book. (Cadence)

We read a lot in class. I have a new book in my book box. It is a fairy book. Reading is fun. (Lainey)

At Bear Day we played with our bears and made them do a poem. We had a picnic with our bears. (Sophie)
I read with my bear. (Casey)

In the Hawk Walk the children got wet because the big people sprayed the children. (Kriti)
At the Hawk Walk we walked around the field and we got otter pops. (Jack)
In the Hawk Walk they squirt us and they squirt us with silly string. (Claire)
At the Hawk Walk we got wet and they silly stringed me. (Daniel)

Book Clubs

These cubs are working together to read about bears.  They took turns reading the book.

These cubs all read their book together.  One cub held the book and pointed while the others read with her.

These cubs took turns reading the book.  Everyone listened to the reader.

These cubs are reading this non-fiction book about bears together.  Everyone was choral reading it.  Then they told the group two interesting facts that they learned from the book.
