Bear Country News for the First Week of December

The cubs were so busy this week that they ran out of time to write for the blog, so I am writing for them. They wanted me to write that they made a wood sculpture in Art. We started practicing for our play. Each child made a "Who" to look like him/herself. They are on display in the hallway. I think they did a great job and the parents will enjoy seeing them when they come for the play next Tuesday night. Everyone wrote a retelling of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". We watched the movie of the Grinch. We made Gingerbread glyphs and learned much about our class. We made a tally sheet that showed the information that was on the glyphs. In the computer lab the children made a graph about hair color. Mrs. Pruzin was very thankful to have Mrs. Grabill and Mrs. Lawson there to help each child get this done! There was a spirit celebration on Friday and the cubs were very proud when Lauren went up to get her trophy. We should have 3 or 4 more children earning trophies in January. Our goal is for everyone in the class to earn a trophy by May.

Cubs: You are ,arguably, the luckiest students at Copper Creek! When you become a, "Pruzin Kid" you remain a "Pruzin Kid" for life, with all of the love, support and kindness that goes along with it.

Thank you Mrs. Pruzin for helping with the MAI Candlelight Dinner! What a treat for us and for the kids--Another example of your dedication! Thank you from the parents who were able to sit and enjoy due to you.--Monica Salazar

PS: So sorry about your nose! I do feel responsible:(
