Pruzin's Cubs News for the Week of Nov. 16.

Jumana wrote: We had a marble jar party. It was fun. We laid down on blankets or sleeping bags.

Lauren wrote: We had a marble jar party. We laid on sleeping bags or our favorite blanket. We read books.

Phoebe wrote: We had a marble jar party. We read books at the party. We laid down in our sleeping bags. We brought a stuffed animal.

(The children earned this party and had many choices as to what the party would be. They voted and 15 out of 26 children chose this to be the party. They played with their stuffed animals during recess and read to them at the party. Many of them brought flashlights or little book lights. I turned off the lights and opened the blinds so they could read. )

Megan wrote: Art is fun. We made fun stuff. We had a piece of paper. We had a white crayon and we painted the paper.

Jonathan wrote: We made clay pots. We had to let them dry. It was fun.

Alexis wrote: Art is fun.

Alex wrote: In art we used crayon and painted on the crayon. We finished stuff.

Alicia wrote: We made clay pots. First we mixed the colors together. Then we took our finger and poked a hole in it. Then we formed the pot. It was fun. (These are the pots that the Wampanoag People made and still are making.)

Caleb wrote: We voted for a turkey caller because we have a turkey caller contest. Tiffany is it.

Ethan wrote: A couple of days ago at school Alex was the Star Reader. He read the book, Little Shark.

Katarina wrote: We did our Poetry Folders. We read it. I learned it. It was fun.

Zach wrote: In music we created a train. We played sandblocks, too.

Branden wrote: I can do division and I'm only in first grade. I sometimes need a calculator to find out what the answer is. (The children do their math first, and then they check their work with a calculator.)

Shareya wrote: We are going to type in the computer lab. It will be fun.

Ben wrote: We made a Venn diagram about a Pilgrim child and us. It looks like two circles touching each other.

Mikayla wrote: We made and Indian pouch. It got hung on the wall. I think parents will like it.

Madison wrote: At P.E. we had a substitute. His name was Mr. Koch. It is fun because he is awesome the whole P.E. We did not talk too much and we got a 5 in P.E.

Madeleine wrote: I'm a Ready Reader! It was good. I like you persons. You are good.

Reis wrote: We made clay pots. They were delicate. We had to put them in a bag.
